AARUSHI-A CANDLE IN THE DARKNESS

Few days Back I was watching the National Geographic channel. There was a regular programme going on called”SURVIVAL”,where they show herbivores being trounced and hunted down to death by carnivores.Obviously they showed the banal killing of a deer by a tiger. The fawn was playfully jumping and chaffing around quite unaware of her gory fate. The tiger acted with alacrity and when the fawn was a bit out of place, pounced upon her and sped away. What follwed next was “TEARING AND SCRATCHING “ of the body of the helpless soul.I watched it with sympathy and disgust. But that’s the law of the jungle, that’s called survival albeit in a brutal way.
I changed the channel, grabbed a packet of lays and zeroed in on HEADLINES TODAY.The natty news reporter screeched “A 14 year old girl murdered ruthlessly”,I was not perplexed at the outset, nowadays its very common,we have become callous to the monstrousity prevalent in this world.Who cares now if 200 people die in a train accident,if a young guy dies out of frustration,a girl is raped or a family is ruined by embezzlement of funds.Who cares about the lamenting of a widow,or an old mother who loses her son in an a mishap. The number of people dying remains as mere “numbers”.Have we ever thought the pains and agonies behind the curtain,NO.So this mint fresh news did not come as a surprise to me,I glued to the television screen by that time the media had started to splash the news with doubly redoubled energy. It was a jamboree for them, funtime for the journalists to shoot the deplorable and devastated family members with pesky questions and interrogations. The little girl’s photo was blared.I was thunder-struck,she had similar features as my cousin sister, the only difference being aarushi-the victim was in class 9 and she is in class seven.Few names cropped up.The blame game began."He killed that girl,no it was him,no it was her Father!!!!!".Then character assassination followed soon."That girl was characterless, this was projected by the media ,then they talked about her relationships, yes the pathetic media forgot that they were taling about a 14 year old. Then one day, an aggrieved mother came out with teary eyes and addressed the scavengers, yes the so called media who were doing their snooping.I wondered and pondered over the ruthlessness, not of the media, but of GOD,they say everything happens for the good, what good does HE want to show us?An innocent girl got murdered not only once, but for 100 times, first her physical death occurred and what followed was intermittent murders by the media and the goofish people who accused aarushi of absolutely Cockamamie affairs. What would she be feeling now?And how her parents are taking it,have we ever thought about it?think about it,all prayers gone awry, how will they believe in God now, even the almighty cannot face the oppressed souls who have lost everything,Whenver I watch her on TV(yes the media has done a terrific job by sensitizing the nation about the brutality of the murder by showing clips from her life, but that’s because they need trps),their pains are far more than the greatest greifs in this entire universe.I am sure if one thing god would like to change now is the death of an elfin named aarushi,if GOD is listening ,THEN ANSWER ME,When will the end of the dark tunnel appear for the Talwar family?Arrange something for them fast!!!!!!!!!
ITS disgusting and saddening to see the poor girls' image being distorted just like the deer's body was torn into pieces by the tiger. In this case the tiger is the people from the media who are very much humane, atleast they pretend to be so.Let her soul rest in peace and she get's to taste the holy dew of heaven.God turn aarushi into an angel and never send her back to this shittish world.
